The photos of your pet are a precious memory, and we treat them with the same care. Here you will find, in plain words, what data we collect, why, who we share it with and how long we keep it.

Who the data controller is

What data we process

The email address we send the video and order updates to.
Your pet’s name, and the dates and dedication you choose to add.
The photos you upload. We ask for photos of your pet: if people appear in them too, we use them only to create the video.
From the payment, we receive only the outcome, the amount and the email address. Your name, billing address, country and payment method are collected directly by Link (Stripe): we never see your card number.
Your IP address and the time you accept the terms, as a record of your choices.
Technical browsing data and, only with your consent, the measurement cookies described below.

Why we process it

To create and deliver your video and to provide support: this is necessary to perform the contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
To meet legal obligations, such as tax and accounting requirements (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c)).
To keep the site secure and prevent misuse: this is our legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
To show your video as an example, only if you gave us your consent in the order form (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). We never show the photos.
To measure how well our ads work, only if you accept the measurement cookies (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).

We do not use your photos to train artificial intelligence models, and we never sell them to anyone.

Who we share it with

Link, Stripe’s payment service, resells the video on our behalf and handles the payment, VAT and receipt. For this data it is an independent controller: it uses it in accordance with its own privacy notice, which you can find on the payment page. We pass on your email address, your pet’s name (it appears in the order title) and the price, never the photos or the dedication.

For everything else, we use a few providers who process data on our behalf and according to our instructions:

Higgsfield, the artificial intelligence service that generates the video from the photos.
Anthropic, to describe your pet’s appearance and check the quality of the video.
Resend, to send emails.
The hosting provider that hosts the site and files.
Meta and TikTok, only if you accept the measurement cookies.

Some of these providers are based outside the European Union, for example in the United States. In these cases the transfer takes place with the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as the Data Privacy Framework or the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

How long we keep it

Photos and video: we delete them when the download link expires, that is 30 days after delivery or after the link was last sent again.
Unpaid orders: we delete the order and photos 48 hours after the last activity.
Refunded or pending orders: we delete the photos and video 30 days after the refund, or 60 days after payment if the order was not completed.
Showcase videos: if you gave us your consent, we keep only the final video until you withdraw it.
Order data (email, amount, date): we keep it for ten years, as required by tax law.
Payment data: kept by Link (Stripe) for the periods stated in its privacy notice.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, receive it in a readable format, object to its processing or withdraw any consent you have given. Just write to info@cookieminds.com: we reply within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).

Technical cookies: these make the site work and protect the order form (for example the session cookie and the security cookie that guards against forged submissions). They do not require consent.

Order draft: while you fill in the form, the name, dates and dedication are saved only in your browser, so you don’t lose them if you come back from the payment page. They don’t reach us until you send the order, and they disappear when you close the tab or complete the payment.

Measurement and marketing cookies: the Meta pixel (Facebook and Instagram) and the TikTok pixel tell us which ads bring visits and orders. We only turn them on if you press “Accept” in the banner. Your choice is saved in your browser and you can change it whenever you like from the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of the page.

Children

The service is only available to adults.

Changes

If we change this notice, we update the date at the top. For significant changes, we will let you know by email.
